Kind words from Jackie

Jackie was one of the original Tactical Conditioning crew. I can still remember her calling me to ask a few questions, and how apprehensive she was about attending the class. She was not sure it would be a good fit for her. She did the hardest part of any journey, which is always to take that first step. A year and a half later, here is what she had to say;

 ”I am not sure if I can truly express what meeting you and the last 18 months has meant to me.  Your program has pushed me (yes, believe it or not, b\c sometimes I wasn’t sure I was pushing) to do things I would have never done….squat thrusts and mountain climbers spring to mind.  I sprint, I run, I lift 30 pounds of weights easily!  Wow……And those are just the things that quickly come to mind.  I am deeply appreciative of what you have done for me.  You have, whether you know it or not, also given me confidence, through TC, to push myself in others areas of my life as well, and I have been very successful.  I have much more confidence now.  So thank you, for all of that.”

Take that first step!

p.s. – Tactical Conditioning class is on sabbatical but there are countless other ways to begin your journey. Choose one and don’t look back!

TacCon 2.21

Tonight we were outside for the first time this season. What a beautiful night! We did rounds of sledge strikes, kettlebell swings, walking lunges, with running in between. Everyone was happy to be in the sun and it showed in the workout! Good job everyone!

TacCon is working on it’s tan!

We are going to take advantage of the gorgeous weather and have class outside tonight! Class will be at the Olympic Center Oval, Main Street, Lake Placid. We will do a bodyweight ladder strength routine and then a conditioning workout! This will be a great for beginners but will also challenge any fitness level! Come give it a try!

TacCon 2.20

Tonight was 20 seconds work, 40 seconds rest of Ropes, Kettlebell Figure 8 with squat, Ball Slams and a calisthenic of choice.  We went through this circuit three times. Good times!

TacCon 2.19

We were back at it tonight after a two week layoff! Tonight was the strength program (as always) followed by 15 minutes of sandbag clean and press, run and ball slams.

This will be our last Monday night class for awhile, but we will still be sweating to the oldies every Wednesday night. Join us!

No classes this week!

Due to other commitments, there will be no classes, Tactical Conditioning or Schroon Lake Strength Club this week or early next week. We will get back into it next week, beginning on Wed. February 22nd. I am sorry for any inconvenience!
